Obtaining a New Hampshire Driver’s License

If you are a new resident of NH, you have 60 days to apply for a license. You are required to prove name, age and residency. There is a list of acceptable documents in the $CSLINK or online at the NH DMV website. You must be 16 years old or order. If you have never had a license before, you must successfully complete a driver’s education course.

Test

You will be required to pass a vision, written and road test to obtain you NH driver license.

An operators license in MH costs $50 and can be paid via cash, check or credit card. You must complete the Application for Driver’s License or ID Card to obtain your NH license.

Transferring an Out-of-State License
